I'm just getting back into the process of filming while I paint. It seems as though it helps me focus since I don't want to waste a bunch of time futzing about while filming, which in turn makes editing a much larger pain in the ass. So here are a few still shots from a video that will be posted very soon.

Cruising at 30,000 feet on the way to London, Ontario from S.F. No sleep, red eye flight, screaming baby and Vodka Cranberries. The rendering is not super clean, but I have learned that when sketching on a plane, it's best to keep things a bit loose. I call this series of sketches (pictured and not) "the essence of the hairy pencil".

Finished work.

Here is the finished piece that was being worked on in the 3 previous clips. Unfortunately the final stages were not filmed so all I can do at this point is put up a shot of the artwork itself.
