Tiny Paintings

Small works on Yupo paper done in 10 minutes or less. This was basically an exercise in speed sketching, with paint. An initial layer was put down with ink or fluid acrylic, scraping big patches of random color with a lot of pressure so the surface was more or less stained, and would dry right away. Then the main elements were put down usually with my finger and then worked into with a small palette knife or the back of a brush handle.

  1. I LOVE these! I've purchased some Yupo paper but haven't 'explored' yet. What fun!
